You will not be short of things to do and do not need a car at all. Elizabeth Street - heart of Belgravia is a 6 minute walk Belgravia is regal London dressed in its Sunday best. Classical architecture, white stucco residences, and stone churches characterise the neighborhood’s fashionably restrained streets. Its aristocratic ambiance comes at a high price, but the neighborhood’s secluded gardens and private estates are unmatched. Although its daunting refinement places Belgravia in a class of its own, the neighbourhood remains close to destinations that encourage you to let loose—relax at Chelsea, Pimlico, and Westminster’s taverns and wine bars. The Saatchi Gallery - 12 MINS WALK: re-opened on 9th October 2008 in the former military barracks of the Duke of York's Headquarters. The 70,000 square feet represents a significantly larger space than its previous 40,000 occupancy at County Hall. Ousted from the Southbank site in 2005, the re-location of the gallery had long been speculated upon and hotly anticipated. The former ad man Charles Saatchi made the transition to the art world in the 1990s, championing young artists and buying in bulk the works of Young British Artists like Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin. In keeping with this trait, the gallery includes a dedicated space for emerging artists from the Saatchi Online website (URL HIDDEN) featuring a rotating selection of artists chosen by the online magazine's critics. Alongside are temporary exhibitions of contemporary art works which began with the work of 30 of China's leading artists. PIMLICO FARMERS MARKET On an average Saturday you'll find a small gathering of around 25 stalls in this pedestrianised space. There's an intimate, friendly atmosphere at Pimlico Road Farmers' Market which is helped by the farmers and stall owners (largely from nearby Kent, Surrey and Sussex) offering free samples and snippets of advice. Typically you'll find shellfish, smoked fish and samphire in season . It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning The Orange Public House on Pimlico Road has been lovingly restored to its former glory by the team behind The Thomas Cubitt and The Pantechnicon. There's a number of beautiful light and airy rooms with bleached wood and massive windows creating an informal weathered interior bathed in natural sunlight. Food is a choice of thin crust wood fired pizzas and oven roasts ideal for soaking up ales or accompanying a fine bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from the impressive wine list. Children are accommodated too - they can choose from most of the main dishes and are charged half the price for smaller portions. Walking distance to London Victoria Train and Tube and also Sloane Square Tube and Pimlico Tube. Also just a 2 minute walk to the River Thames. Well served by Uber and black cabs. Please note, 50% of wardrobe shown in photos is not for guest use. Guests have the use of the two left hand doors nearest the basin.
